The Corteiz Shox R4 'Black' releases on Saturday, 31 October 2026, at 09:00 CET. The retail price in Europe is €180 and the style code is IQ9951-002. Corteiz calls the model the R419, and the black pair joins the blue and the silver colorway on the same release day.
Corteiz and Nike drop three pairs at once. Next to the Black pair, there is the Corteiz Shox R4 'Game Royal' (IQ9951-400) in blue and the Corteiz Shox R4 'Metallic Silver' (IQ9951-001). All three cost €180 and release at 09:00 CET, so the color is the main choice you have to make. The black version is the most understated of the three and the easiest to wear every day.
The base of the pair is the Nike Shox R4. According to Nike, the R4 debuted in 2000 and broke with the look of traditional running shoes. Four compressive columns under the heel give the shoe its structure and its typical bounce, and the design takes cues from spacesuits and astronaut gear.
Corteiz and Nike already have a history together. Before the Shox, the two released the Air Max 95 SP in 2023 and 2025 and the Air Trainer Huarache in 2024.
Nike has not published fit notes for this pair yet. Until official details are out, your usual Shox R4 size is the best reference.
