Privacy Policy

We keep data collection to a minimum: SNKREMPIRE works without an account, without a newsletter and without comments. This policy explains which personal data are processed when you use our website, our app and our Telegram channel, why, on which legal basis and for how long, and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021).

1. Controller

2. Hosting and server log files

Our website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data center in Falkenstein, Germany. Hetzner processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag). Data are not transferred outside the EU. When you visit the website, the web server automatically logs: IP address, date and time, requested page, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referring page (referrer) and browser/operating system (user agent). We need these log files to deliver the website, to detect and fend off attacks and to fix errors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and stable website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after 14 days, unless a security incident requires us to keep individual entries longer as evidence.

We use a page cache and an object cache on our own server. They store pages, not personal data.

3. Email

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We delete emails when they are no longer needed, unless we have to keep them for legal reasons.

4. Cookies and storage on your device

Under § 165(3) TKG 2021, information may only be stored on or read from your device with your consent, unless this is strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested. We use the following:

Cookie settings

Proof of consent: when you make a choice, we store the random consent ID, the time, the banner version and your choice per category on our server, so that we can prove a consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR). We do not store your IP address or any other data about you with it. These entries are deleted after 3 years.

5. Fonts, images and other content

Our fonts (Poppins) and all scripts and styles are hosted on our own server. We do not use Google Fonts or other content delivery networks. Images are served from our server.

We do not embed posts or videos from social networks or video platforms. Some articles link to them; their privacy policies apply once you open such a link.

6. Our own click counter (sponsored placements)

For sponsored banners we count impressions and clicks per day, so that we can report totals to partners. The counter works without cookies and without storing IP addresses: only the number of views and clicks per banner and day is saved. A click briefly passes through our own address (/go/…) before you are forwarded to the partner. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in billing advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Calendar export and reminders

With “Remind me” you can add a release to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. For Apple Calendar we generate a calendar file (.ics) on our server without storing anything about you. Google Calendar and Outlook open on the websites of Google and Microsoft; their privacy policies apply there. The bell on release cards only saves the style code in your browser (snk_fav, see section 4).

8. Google Analytics 4 (only with consent)

If you consent to the category “Statistics”, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Before you consent, no script from Google is loaded.

• Purpose: to understand how many people visit SNKREMPIRE, which pages and releases are popular and where visitors come from, so that we can improve the site.
• Data: pages visited, time and duration of the visit, referring website, approximate location (country/region), device, browser and operating system, and an online identifier stored in the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>.
• IP addresses: Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; IP addresses of EU users are only used to derive the approximate location and are then discarded. Data collection for EU users takes place on servers in the EU.
• Settings: Google signals and ad personalization are switched off. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization always denied.
• Storage period: analytics data are retained for 14 months. The cookies expire after 6 months at the latest.
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021).
• Processor and third country: Google processes the data on our behalf under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).
• Withdrawal: you can withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; we then delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

9. Affiliate links and affiliate networks

Many store links on SNKREMPIRE are affiliate links. When you click such a link, you are forwarded to the store via the tracking address of an affiliate network. The network and the store record the click and, if you buy something, the purchase, so that we receive a commission. The price you pay does not change.

What happens on our site: nothing is loaded from the networks. An affiliate link is a normal link; data are only processed when you click it and leave our site. What happens after the click: the network sets or reads cookies or similar identifiers under its own domain and processes your IP address, browser data, the time of the click and, for a purchase, the order number and value. The network and the store are responsible for this processing under their own privacy policies. We only receive reports without personal data (number of clicks, sales and commission).

Scripts with consent: if we ever use a network script on our site (for example the Awin MasterTag), it is only loaded after you consent to the category “Marketing / Affiliate” (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021).

Some stores (for example brand stores and marketplaces such as KLEKT) run their own partner programs; their privacy policies apply on their websites.

10. Telegram channel

We publish release alerts in our public Telegram channel (t.me/snkrempire). Telegram is operated by Telegram FZ-LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Telegram Messenger Inc. If you join the channel, Telegram processes your data under its own responsibility; the United Arab Emirates have no adequacy decision of the European Commission. As channel administrators we only see the number of members, views and reactions, and Telegram may show us a list of members; we do not use or export it. Legal basis for our part: our legitimate interest in informing our community (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Privacy policy: telegram.org/privacy.

11. SNKREMPIRE app (iOS and Android)

The SNKREMPIRE app shows our website in an app and sends push notifications about drops, restocks and codes. It is built with WPMobile.App. Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) and the Apple Push Notification service (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Ireland).

• Data: push token, an app installation ID (device ID generated by the app, not your phone number or name), operating system and version, app version, language and the push topics you chose. We do not use the advertising ID (IDFA/AAID) and do not track you across other apps.
• Purpose: to send you the push notifications you asked for, and to count how many devices receive them.
• Legal basis: your consent, which you give in the system dialog of your phone (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time in the settings of your phone or the app.
• Storage period: as long as the app is installed and push notifications are allowed. Tokens of uninstalled apps are deleted when the push services report them as invalid.
• Third country: Google LLC and Apple Inc. (USA) are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• Inside the app, the same rules apply as on the website, including the cookie choice (section 4) and the server log files (section 2).

12. Social media profiles

We link to our profiles on Instagram, X, Facebook and Telegram. These are plain links: no social media plugins are loaded on our website. If you visit our profiles, the privacy policies of the respective platforms apply. For our Facebook and Instagram pages we are jointly responsible with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for the page statistics (“Page Insights”, Art. 26 GDPR).

13. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only pass on personal data to the processors named in this policy (Hetzner, our email provider, Google, WPMobile.App, push services) and only to the extent necessary. We do not sell personal data. Transfers outside the EU/EEA only take place as described above, on the basis of an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

14. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw a consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, email dsb@dsb.gv.at, dsb.gv.at.

15. Automated decisions and minors

We do not make automated decisions or use profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Our services are not directed at children under 14.

16. Changes
