The Yu-Gi-Oh! x adidas ADI2000 released on January 26, 2023, at 10:00 for €120. The style code was H06442, and the colorway was Core Black/Core Black/Purple Rush. The pair came from the collaboration with Yu-Gi-Oh!, a Japanese manga and anime series as well as a trading card game. Graphics and color details celebrated Yami Yugi, the main character of the series. The Yu-Gi-Oh! hype started in the early 2000s, the same era that inspired the ADI2000. A mesh upper mixed nubuck and leather details, finished with metallic gold lace tags and a charm showing "Exodia the Forbidden One". Each pair came with a limited co branded Dark Magician card.
