The Air Jordan 3 Santa saves its best joke for the inside of the shoe. The Air Jordan 3 Santa GS, style code DM0967-601, releases on November 21, 2026, at 09:00 CET for €150, through Nike SNKRS and retailers.
Santa stuck in the chimney
Pull out the insole and you find the story behind the name. It shows Santa stuck in a chimney, with only his legs in view, and he is wearing Air Jordan 1 sneakers. The print runs across both insoles, complete with brick, mantel and holiday decorations, and it is the detail that makes this pair more than a red winter colorway.
The 1985 Nike Christmas poster
The image is a nod to a Nike Christmas poster from 1985. That was the year of the Air Jordan 1, which is why Santa wears that shoe rather than the Air Jordan 3 he is printed on. It turns the insole into a small piece of Jordan history that most people will only see when they take the shoe off.
