The Air Jordan 3 Knicks (JU1525-148) has been available to pre-order since June 18, 2026. Pre-ordered pairs ship from December 2026. More drops through Nike SNKRS and Jordan retailers are possible, but nothing has been confirmed so far, so a fixed release date and the European retail price are still open.
Same colors, closer to 1988
The color blocking is the same as on the 2019 pair: a white leather upper, grey elephant print on the toe and heel, University Orange on the midsole and Old Royal on the lining. The blue and orange are a little less bright than in 2019.
The bigger change is the shape. Like every Air Jordan 3 since the ‘White Cement Reimagined’ in 2023, the Knicks pair follows the original from 1988 more closely:
- A slimmer overall build
- A lower collar
- A shorter heel tab
- A tongue that sits lower
- The tongue fabric hidden behind the leather
New York extras in the box
The pair comes with a sticker sheet full of New York motifs: Knicks graphics, the subway, a yellow taxi and a basketball hoop. Behind the tongue, the date 06.13.26 replaces the usual 04.08.88.
