About adidas ZX releases
The ZX series was the adidas running line of the late 1980s and early 1990s, numbered by model and known for bright color blocking and technical details. Many ZX models introduced the Torsion system, a midfoot support element that became a signature of the era, and the ZX 8000 remains one of its most celebrated designs.
Today the ZX name covers original reissues, reworked shapes and newer models that mix the archive look with modern cushioning. On this page you can follow retro colorways faithful to the originals, seasonal releases and the collaborations with boutiques and brands that have long been part of ZX culture.
Retro and general ZX releases usually land on adidas.com, in the adidas app and at European sneaker stores. Boutique collaborations are often produced in small numbers and handled through raffles or in store launches. After sell out, marketplaces including KLEKT offer another route to a pair.
Every ZX release on SNKREMPIRE shows the style code, the price in euros, the launch time in CET or CEST and a list of stores with links. Tap Remind me to get notified before the drop, and join our Telegram channel, followed by more than 16,000 sneaker fans, for links the moment shops go live.
