The idea behind the model was a slide that could have come from space: the design drew on 3D topography and Mars expeditions for a futuristic look. A molded footbed and a soft rubber outsole provided comfort, whether in the shower or on the go. adidas used natural and renewable materials for the Adilette 22 to reduce the use of non renewable resources and plastic waste.
